If different Kampo medicines are taken simultaneously, the balance of crude drugs included in each medicine is lost and they don’t work appropriately. If you need to take different Kampo medicines, take one medicine 1 hour before taking the other one.

If medicines with contradicting effectiveness are taken at the same time, they may not work correctly. Please consult with us before using medicines in combination.

Because of the different approaches taken in Kampo and Western medicines, you can take them together. However, it’s best to contact us as they may have contradicting effects.

It’s wrong to assume that “Kampo is safe because it has no side effects.” Here’re some examples.
