汉方所使用的生药多为进口品，越优质者量越少，价格越高，这一点跟食品一样。选择品质和价格均衡者才是生意之道，但总是会选择优质者却是我们的禀性。产量有限，是因为我们希望选用优质生药。
追求汉方精华的至纯形态
您知道汉方药中也会使用添加剂吗？
这些添加剂主要是用来凝固汉方精华，而松鹤堂使用的是淀粉或乳糖等天然成分。我们希望萃取的汉方精华能以至纯的形态进入身体，因此才坚持传统做法。

汉方药的原著大约在1800年前公开，而对这些配方进行修改、增减而成的独特配方、并无类似配方的独特制剂，是建林松鹤堂才能提供的方剂。在多达120种的松鹤堂汉方药中，超过一半都是此类独有商品。长年的研究和实践成果，才是建林松鹤堂的宝贵财富。
能够应对不同烦恼，正是因为有了这些丰富的配方。也有很多是很少用的配方，但继续制造这些汉方药，正是我们作为厂商的责任。哪怕只有一个人需要我们的汉方药，我们也要坚守汉方药，并在未来进一步发展汉方。
松鹤堂的制造
可制造的量有限
因为生药的产量有限，因此汉方药的产量也有限。想在有限的资源中增加产量，其方法必然有限。满足医院开出的处方量、在全日本的药店常备，这绝非易事，因此越是有供应量要求的大企业，其在履行责任的背后，都必然有着艰难抉择。
我们坚持着“可以生产令人满意药品的量”，但确保优质生药是个永恒的课题。现在，我们与全日本值得信赖的农户合作，开始致力于生药的生产。5年后、10年后的松鹤堂汉方，必将由优质的国产生药支撑起来。
